Rectangular strips are cut from the bamboo and then boiled to remove sugars. Only the highest quality strips are selected for manufacturing, the lower quality strips are sold to discount flooring companies. After 15 days of treatments and drying, a final moisture content of 6% is achieved to ensure optimum stability. All three series undergo state of the art compression and gluing processes capped off with 8 coatings of UV cured scratch resistant environmental E1- level sealant.
